I joined the Austin Reed group originally working across the companies 3 brands. Each brand had an entirely different target audience and a wealth of heritage behind it to back up its proposition. On top of this, with Austin Reed, there was the added challenge of working for a brand that carried a Royal Warrant which meant sign off had to be more thorough to ensure all deliverables accurately represented the brand and were approved by all stakeholders.
Working as an integrated designer reporting to the design manager, my time at Austin Reed saw an equal split between business as usual print and digital projects. From vinyl’s to in store POS graphics and online sales packages, theres pretty much no area of the retail design landscape that was left uncovered with this role.
